Carl Larsson’s Home: A colorful tour through one of Europe’s most famous handcrafted homes
This artist’s home stands as an indictment of most “architecture,” yes, even California Funky Handmade. It proclaims no fad. It never was New Wave or any other nameable style. Yet the intensely detailed and very personal atmosphere it celebrates is somehow so, dare I say it... “right” that most folks who see it are excited. This book is a color photo essay, which is cheaper than planefare to Sweden. It might be nice if architecture persons paid more attention to things like Mr. Larsson’s house. By the way, much of the work and design was done by his wife Karin who gets better credit in the text than she does in the title.
