A Field Guide to the Insects America North of Mexico
90,000 species of insects inhabit North America: chewing lice, sucking lice, earwigs, stoneflies, springtails, twisted-winged parasites, butterflies, beetles, thrips and bugs. This guide covers 579 of the insect families and has at least one illustration for each. Amazing! I have rarely found the exact moth or water scorpion but always came close enough to feel good. Pretty easy to use considering the mind-boggling diversity.
