The glittery beauty of Alaska beckons many of us, and nowhere is that beauty better shown than in the series of books put out by the Alaska Geographic Society. This one on the interior is especially enticing to me because I lived there for a few years and want to go back. I can hardly sit still with this volume on my desk. The color shots are all one could wish, and the articles are general enough to give a broad idea of what to expect. If you hunger for Alaska, this is your meat.
