A Field Guide to Reptiles and Amphibians of Eastern and Central North America
The thing that is so nice about these guides is that everyone of them has a lot of stuff in it. The books are easy to use and well-illustrated enough so that if you look carefully you can identify most any species of bird, flower, bug, etc. that you meet up with. Too bad they aren't all paperback so that you could put all of them in your pack.
