Schwenk directs an institute in the Black Forest devoted to the study of the movements of water and air. Within the last few centuries, he says we have "lost touch with the spiritual nature of water." As a result, we have attempted to control the fluids in ways contrary to their nature, and even drying up of natural water sources. Schwenk attempts to penetrate beyond the mere observable phenomena to an ability to "read" the true spiritual nature of flowing substances.
